Understanding Descriptive Text

1. Definition

Description text is descriptive text is text that explains something. Be it people, things, events, or places.

2. Text Structure

The structure of descriptive text consists of twoparts,namely.identification(identification).and.Description(description)

The identification section contains the introduction of the object to bedescribed

Sample : Police is a job that devotes itself to the state,especially maintaining order and security. The police workwholeheartedly not only to enforce the law but also to provideprotection to the public.

4. School Library

The Library of SMKN 4 Semarang is located in front of the Al Karimah Mosque and beside the UKS room and not far from the
lobby about 1.5 minutes walk. Inside there are various facilities such as learning books and comic books, bookcases, airconditioning, tables, floor chairs, computers for staff, and there are decorations.The area of this library is approximately 56m², although inside it is divided into 2 parts which are separated by glass doors. This library whole color is green, blue, and gray. In this library there is no window to look at the front of the library, but the door uses a glass door. If you want to borrow a book, you have to fill in the data at officer. You have to fill in data offline (writing a loan list) or online in the Google Form.

A. Majoring DPIB
There are module that can be read for students majoring in DPIB, there are various kinds of module related to buildings, such as module estimated construction costs whose author/author is Dwi Setyowati Hilga. This module is used to add insight into Construction Cost Estimation for students.

B. Learning Books Such A English
For books that are used for general are learning books such as English learning books written by Shyla K.Lande and Eka Mulya Astuti entitled Forward An English. The book can be used for everyday learning.

C. Islamic Religion Books
ISLAMIC RELIGION book, this book has a very nice cover and has a cartoon image. This book was written by Ahmad Taufik and Nurwastuti Setyowati. This book is used for Islamic RELIGION learning.

D. Indonesian Language Learning Books
Indonesian Language Learning Book, The cover is very good, the contents are complete. This book is used for learning Indonesian language.
